Just a reminder that the "Name The Lost Planet" competition is still running.

You could win £10,000 in equipment for your school or, if over the age of sixteen, an equivalent cash prize.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The competition finishing date has been made open ended to allow as many of our worldwide readers to enter the competition! Keep sending through your entries for the "Name The Lost Planet" competition.

What could you contribute to building a new life on the lost planet? You could have a say on its development by coming up with an idea of what to name the planet. If chosen, this name would be then used in all other books in the series! All you have to do is complete the competition entry form .

Children under the age of sixteen should have the consent of a parent or guardian when entering. The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges shortly after.

1. To enter the "Name the lost planet" competition, fill out the entry form supplied inside the back cover of The Secret of the Lost Planet, which is available for purchase at any major book retailer, or complete the entry form.

2. The prize can be substituted for school equipment of the same value.

3. The winner will be notified by post and a notice will be lodged in UK national newspapers.

4. The winning entry (i.e. the chosen name of the planet) will be used in all other Children of the 23rd Century Books. Copyright will remain the sole property of www.23rdcenturychildren.com.

5. The names of the judging panel will be available on request.

6. All decisions will be at the judging panel's final discretion. No further discussions will be entered into.

7. Closing date for the competition is open ended.

8. The winning entrant will consent to participate in any reasonable media promotion and will allow www.23rdcenturychildren.com to use their name and likeness providing it is within the bounds of the common privacy act UK.
